Kat Carrico joined Meng Peeps in 2025. She brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education and healthcare fundraising to assist our clients in identifying, engaging and recruiting top-tier advancement professionals.
Most recently, Kat was the Vice President for Health Sciences Advancement at the University of Southern California, leading fundraising for the academic, research, and clinical priorities of the university’s medical enterprise. She also played a key role in launching the $3 billion Campaign for Health in 2021. More...
Prior to USC, Kat served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Development at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she co-led a team of 350 staff members during the public phase of the university’s $4.69 billion Centennial Campaign.
Earlier in her career, Kat held leadership positions at the Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center at Emory University in Atlanta, as well as at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, both in Chicago.
Kat’s deep experience at several of the nation’s leading academic and health institutions, combined with her long-standing relationship with Meng Peeps as both a candidate and client, uniquely position her to contribute exceptional insight and leadership in her role as Consulting Partner.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
